OUR MISSION
“To reach people for Christ and facilitate Spiritual growth through Women’s Programs and humanitarian aid."

Corban Ministries was originally devoted to investing in the Spiritual lives of women and children through sound Biblical teaching.  In 2014, we expanded to include Christian based humanitarian relief efforts both locally and abroad.  Corban Ministries has been dedicated to transforming the lives of women through helping them find peace within and by building in them strength and character based on scriptural principles.  Our mission is to deliver programs that equip women and children to live with integrity, create positive relationships and stand strong in the face of adversity.

OUR VISION

 SPIRITUAL GUIDANCE FOR WOMEN

Our vision is to develop more seminars and retreats that help women grow stronger in their relationship with the Lord and help churches build effective Women’s Ministry programs which will enable them to do the same.

SPIRITUAL AID THROUGH HUMANITARIAN AID

Locally

Our vision is to bring the homeless to Christ through showing the love of Jesus by meeting their needs for a meal and basic necessities.  Our long term goal is to open a soup kitchen in Dickson, TN.

Abroad

Our vision is to help the children of Haiti by creating sustainable projects that can help alleviate the poverty of the land.   More than ever before, we must find innovative ways to ensure that nature can continue to provide food, clean water, energy, and other services that our growing population depends upon for survival. We help bring people closer to Jesus Christ through ministering to their needs whether Spiritual, emotional or basic necessities of life.  We also support other organizations in their efforts to teach those in third world countries about Jesus through global outreach projects.   We envision Corban Ministries not just continuing that support, but growing that support year after year.

OUR FOUNDATION

Corban Ministries is a non-profit organization that was founded in 2009.  Our Founder, DeAnna Heald, was called at a Women's Retreat to speak a powerful message that has continued to resonate with women of all ages.  The foundation for her speaking and this entire ministry is based off these Scriptures:

 I Cor 2:1-13

When I came to you, brothers, I did not come with eloquence or superior wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God. For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.  I came to you in weakness and fear, and with much trembling.  My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit's power, so that your faith might not rest on men's wisdom, but on God's power.  We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing.  No, we speak of God's secret wisdom, a wisdom that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began.

None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

However, as it is written: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him"--but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man's spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us.

This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words.

2 Cor 1:3-7

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows.  If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer. And our hope for you is firm, because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so also you share in our comfort.

 2 Cor 3:4-6

Such confidence as this is ours through Christ before God.  Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God.  He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant -- not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
